Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) – Registration Fees

1. When is the Early Bird registration period?

The Early Bird registration period runs from 16 September to 15 October 2025.

2. What are the Early Bird rates?

Presenter (with proceedings): RM200

Presenter (without proceedings): RM150

Attendee: RM50

3. What are the Normal Rates after the Early Bird period ends?

Presenter (with proceedings): RM300 (valid from 16 October – 3 November 2025)

Presenter (without proceedings): RM200 (valid from 16 October – 3 November 2025)

Attendee: RM100 (valid from 16 October – 24 November 2025)

4. What is the difference between ‘Presenter with proceedings’ and ‘Presenter without proceedings’?

Presenter with proceedings will have their full paper published in the official conference proceedings titled: Proceedings of the International Music and Performing Arts Conference eISSN: 2773-5745

Presenter without proceedings will still present at the conference, but their paper will not be included in the proceedings. This option is suitable for those who plan to submit their full article to our partner journals such as Jurai Sembah, Malaysian Journal of Music, or any other journal.

5. I am only attending and not presenting. Which rate applies to me?

You should register as an Attendee, which is:

RM50 during Early Bird (16 Sept – 15 Oct)

RM100 during Normal Rates (16 Oct – 24 Nov)

6. Can I switch from “Presenter without proceedings” to “with proceedings” later?

Yes, but only before 3 November 2025 and upon payment of the fee difference (RM100).

7. Can I switch from “Presenter with proceedings” to “without proceedings” later?

Yes, but the difference in payment will not be refunded.

8. How do I make payment and confirm registration?

Details for payment and registration confirmation will be provided via email once your abstract or registration form has been accepted. Please only proceed with payment as a presenter after receiving the official acceptance letter. Ensure that payment is made within the stipulated time to enjoy the respective rates.

9. Will I receive a receipt or invoice for the payment?

Yes. An official receipt can be downloaded once you complete your payment through the ePayment system. The system’s open period will be announced by the Secretariat.
